Bollywood celebrities have become an integral part of the famous Madam Tussaud’s museum in London. Now Katrina Kaif has become the seventh Bollywood actor to be honoured with a figure at Madame Tussauds London and joins Amitabh Bachchan (2000), Aishwarya Rai (2004), Shah Rukh Khan (2007), Salman Khan (2008), Hrithik Roshan (2011) and Madhuri Dixit-Nene (2012). Now we have the gorgeous Katrina Kaif becoming a part of the select group at Madame Tussaud’s museum in London. The ‘Bang Bang’ actress, had her statue recently unveiled at the museum.
Katrina Kaif is a London native, her family resides there. She is thrilled to have been immortalized at the famous musuem, thus becoming a part of the select group of celebrities. Madame Tussauds website had conducted a poll of Bollywood actresses. Katrina was chosen to be waxed defeating Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. She joined the new Bollywood setting as part of the popular wax-work museum’s “15 years of Bollywood” celebration.
Katrina Kaif’s wax statue has her in a dancing pose, she is seen sporting a beautiful white, silver and pink lehenga. The Diva had donated her outfit to dress the model. Katrina’s figure was created by a team of 20 sculptors and artists over a four-month period, using hundreds of precise measurements taken at a sitting in Mumbai and cost ₤150,000 to create. The event was attended not by Katrina Kaif’s beau Ranbir Kapoor or her ex Salman Khan. But her family consisting of her sisters and brother attended the unveiling in strength.
