Katrina Kaif has turned down a film opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Here’s why

Post the failure of ‘Fitoor’, actress Katrina Kaif has been playing it safe with her choice of roles in movies and wants to focus more on performance oriented roles. So when the director of ‘Dostana’, Tarun Mansukhani approached Kat for a project opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, she turned it down because she didn’t quite like the character and besides that she also felt that the movie centered around Sushant.

So as per a source from a leading daily, Katrina has been eyeing for a project with Karan Johar. Kat and KJo have been bonding big time and it looks like there will be an announcement soon. The source said, “Of late, Karan and Katrina have been seen bonding more often than usual. The actress who rarely parties has been a frequent visitor to KJo’s impromptu get-togethers. Karan was keen to cast her in Tarun’s film, but when the director gave Kat a narration, she told him that her heart wasn’t in it as the role of the heroine isn’t much and the film centres around Sushant.”

Let’s wait till the lady in question confirms this news.
