Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are one of those ideal B-town couples who we love and adore. The two surely give strong relationship goals to many. However, did you know Aishwarya never had a crush on Abhishek? Or the fact that Abhishek took a lot of time before he managed to propose her for marriage. Read on to know more.

Aishwarya Rai was recently in a conversation with the talk show host Karan Singh Chhabra. They played a game called ‘Never Have I Ever’ where she was asked if she ever crushed on someone younger than her. She answered, “I am married and my husband is younger than me but I never had a crush on him. It was friendship and we just hit it off”.

Hmmm… And what about junior Bachchan? He had given the answer in one of his previous interviews.

“I was filming in New York for a movie. And, I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that, ‘One day, wouldn’t it be nice if I was together with her, married. Years later, we were there for the premiere of Guru. After the premiere, we were back in the hotel. So, I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me.” he said.

How romantic is that?
