Kriti Sanon acting pricey for Aditya Chopra’s ‘Sultan’?

Kriti Sanon is on a roll with her latest film ‘Dilwale’ running successful at the box-office. One film old, Kriti Sanon was lucky enough to bag an opportunity to star in a film which has big names like that of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol attached to it. No wonder she is becoming one of the favorites of directors in the tinsel town. The latest, we have heard that Salman Khan has referred Kriti Sanon’s name for his next film ‘Sultan’ produced by Aditya Chopra.

This is probably the first time ever that Salman Khan’s movie has such a tough fight for the selection of the heroine. The first leg of the film has already come to an end but, still there’s no confirmation over the heroine. There were reports that producer Aditya Chopra wants ‘Ishaqzaade’ star Parineeti Chopra to be the leading heroine opposite Salman. But, it seems Kriti has captivated some slot in Salman’s mind and he wants her to his leading lady and no one else. This confusion is just leading to a delay in the film’s release. Apart from this, we have learnt that there’ some clash between Aditya Chopra and Kriti Sanon. Apparently, Kriti is not willing to sign YRF’s contract which she finds it to be unfair.

A source was quoted saying, “Even if Kriti gives them the dates they want, Adi has laid the condition that if she signs the film, she will have to sign up as a Yashraj talent. The actors launched by the studio (Ranveer, Parineeti, Anushka, Vani) have to pay a percentage of their earnings from films and endorsements to the studio. While newcomers are happy to sign this contract when they get launched by YRF, Kriti, who has already made a name for herself doesn’t think it is a fair offer. she would rather give up the film than take up Adi’s offer, which comes with this condition.”

Well, if Kriti is not willing to do it and Salman does not want Parineeti to do the film than who would be Salman’s heroine? Only time will tell us. And, well even though makers are in a hurry to fix a heroine they still have a little time in hand as the release date of the film has been postponed to next Diwali.

As of now, Kriti can sit back and celebrate ‘Dilwale’s’ success.
