Look what Shraddha Kapoor did for Chetan Bhagat on his birthday!

Author Chetan Bhagat celebrates his 43rd birthday today. Given the wide fan following that he enjoys, he is expected to be bombarded with love and wishes. But guess who made a very special gesture early morning for the birthday man?

It is none other than ‘Half Girlfriend’ actress Shraddha Kapoor. This morning, Bhagat took to Twitter and wrote, “What a wonderful way to wake up on the birthday. Flowers from Riya Somani #HalfGirlfriend @ShraddhaKapoor. Thank you!!!”

Along with the tweet was a picture that showed us Shraddha’s gift for the author. It was a bunch of beautiful flowers! What better way for one’s birthday to begin?

Shraddha also sent in a small, hand-written note wherein she thanks Bhagat for letting her essay the role of protagonist for the film based on his story. “It’s been an absolute pleasure collaborating with you,” she wrote.

Now isn’t that just adorable?

‘Half Girlfriend’, which is based on Bhagat’s novel with the same name, also stars Arjun Kapoor in lead and will release on May 19.
