Love letters and longing; let’s get nostalgic with Manisha Koirala-starrer ‘Dear Maya’

Love letters, with all their innocence and beauty, are almost extinct now. Instant messaging applications on androids and other software have taken over the sweet longing that people experienced while sending and receiving letters. However, with the upcoming flick ‘Dear Maya’, we will all be going back to those days, when letters were the best way of expressing love.

We have seen the trailer of the movie, and know how love letters play a pivotal part in the film.

Post that, we are actually wondering which was the last film where we saw the lovers exchanging love letters. ‘Dear Maya’, in its essence, is not about lovers, but more about the feeling the love, and the sweet pangs that come with it. It will be quite interesting to see how Sunaina Bhatnagar has captured the ‘letters’ element in the film. We are really keen to watch the film and these love letters, that are making us nostalgic, are one of the reasons for our excitement.
