What made Richa Chadha leave an event fuming in anger?

Indian celebrities enjoy huge trend of celebrity worship and are blessed to have people loving them so much. But this can take an ugly turn when this love goes out of hand.

We have read incidents where fans have tried to breach the security and tend to hurt their own favourite stars, just to get a glimpse of them. And the recent victim of the same was Richa Chadha, who was in Jaipur for a promotional event for a leading jewellery brand. What started off as a normal event, became a chaos as people soon realised the presence of a celebrity in the vicinity.

Richa, apparently had already expressed her concern over the lack of security to the organisers in the start and soon after, she was really concerned with the shouts of the crowd. And when the organisers did not take this matter into consideration, she handed the mic to the host and stormed out from the venue amidst the presence of her team.

“I was extremely confused at the event. And kept telling the organisers to look into the security, which initially was none at all. The venue was in midst of crowded areas. They managed to get 1 or 2 people but that wasn’t enough because soon crowd started to pour outside the venue and things became awkward and not comfortable for me. I had committed to the organisers thus I stood by my word but my requests weren’t taken seriously which came from a place of concern. I ultimately left the venue because that was necessary”, says Richa Chadha.

The actress is currently shooting for ‘Fukrey Returns’, which releases later this year.
