Mahira Khan might fly down to India to promote ‘Raees’

We all know that after Uri attacks, Pakistani actors had been banned from working in India. However, the films which have already been shot will get a clear release without any protest. After the release and subsequent success of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Dear Zindagi’, the next movie where we will get to see a Pakistani artiste, is ‘Raees’. The film has Mahira Khan as the female lead.

The trailer of the film was launched today, but the actress was missing from the event. So, when the producer of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani, was asked if Mahira will come to India to promote the film, he said, “When we start promoting the film, if we need Mahira, she will definitely come.”

So, let’s hope that soon Mahira comes to India and promotes the film.

Last month, Alia Bhatt’s ‘Dear Zindagi’, which had had Pakistani actor Ali Zafar in it, hit the screens, but the makers had not even shown him once in the trailer or the songs. Ali was not even a part of any promotional event. It’s good to see that the makers of ‘Raees’ are at least considering to call Mahira to promote the film.
