Mahira Khan: I thought ‘Raees’ will earn 100 crores on first Friday itself

Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ is doing tremendously well at the box office. The film has already collected 100 crores within 10 days of its release and is still roaring high.

Even though Mahira could not be a part of any of the movie’s promotions in the city, she made her presence through web and recently attended an event via web conference where she spoke about the movie and also about her experience of shooting with Shah Rukh Khan. When a reporter asked her about the film reaching the 100 crore club, Mahira said, “I am not really aware of the numbers.” However, she adds, “I thought the movie will earn 100 crores on first Friday itself. Nothing is impossible for Shah Rukh Khan.”

Speaking of what she thinks was the strong point of the film, she said, “Our dialogues are being used by three different political parties.”

The movie released on the 25th of January.
