Majid Majidi wishes to watch Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Rangoon’. Now that’s something!

Shahid Kapoor had debuted with ‘Ishq Vishk’ in 2003. However, it took him quite some time to establish himself as a credible actor. As Shahid lives his 14th year in Bollywood, his brother Ishaan Khattar has set off for his dream debut with globally acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi.

At the film’s mahurat, Shahid was seen lending courage to the newcomer, who is a bit nervous for obvious reasons. “I can’t say much about the film, but I am glad that people who matter to me are around,” he says.

However, the best thing we heard was that Majidi appreciated the trailer of ‘Rangoon’ and wanted to watch the film!

“I don’t think Ishaan could have asked for a better debut. Majidi is one of the best directors in the world, and I am really happy that Ishaan is working with him,” the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor told a leading daily.

Now that’s like a proud brother!
