Aamir Khan-starrer ‘Dangal’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie is based on wrestler Mahavir Phogat, and the makers are keen to have a tax-free status for it. Aamir recently revealed that they are planning to apply for a tax-free status even before the film’s release.
When the actor was asked if the film would be made tax-free, Aamir said, “Well, I believe it’s a film which falls in a tax redemption category. I’m not sure whether it’ll get tax-free or not. But we are applying for it and it would be before the release.”

Talking about demonetization, Aamir said, “Regarding the demonetisation, I hope it doesn’t affect the film. I think things are slowly coming back to normal. ‘Rock On 2’ did get affected because it was right at that time but ‘Dear Zindagi’ has done quite well, I believe.”
‘Dangal’ which also stars Sakshi Tanwar is slated to release on December 23.
