The makers unveiled the first poster of the movie and it shows Maya Devi in a happy state of mind as she opens a bird cage and lets the birds fly, while we see two teenage girls, Anna and Ira staring at her. Have a look at the poster:
The story revolves around two teenage girls Anna and Ira staying in Shimla. They encounter an abandoned bungalow whenever they leave their house and find a lady staying indoors all the time. They discover that the lady’s name is Maya Devi and she has been staying in the bungalow for 20 long years without stepping out. The reason being that 20 years back, when she was of a marriageable age, no man had loved her or agreed to marry her. That makes her bitter towards the outside world and she locks herself in the bungalow for 20 years. The girls pity her condition and decide to write fake love letters to her, pretending to be one of the suitors she had met 20 years back who still loves her. But, what happens later is something that we will only discover when the movie releases on June 2, 2017. The movie is directed by Sunaina Bhatnagar and produced by Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell.
