Bollywood actors follow an erratic shooting schedule the end result of which causes severe health problems. Recently Bollywood beauty Nargis Fakhri too fell prey to one such hectic schedule. The ‘Rockstar‘ actress who was shooting for her upcoming film ‘Azhar’ at Filmalaya Studios, collapsed while shooting for a song sequence. Soon a doctor was called upon, who said that the actress was suffering from high fever.
The song in question was a popular number ‘Oye Oye’ of the 90’s from ‘Tridev’. The actress is playing the role of Sangeeta Bijlani in ‘Azhar’, which is a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin. Sangeeta Bijlani happened to be Azharuddin’s second wife in real life.
Nargis admitted that she was feeling weak and giddy but was excited about the song. On the doctors advice, she was soon sent home and asked to rest for a couple of days. However, She will be joining the shoot within a day as the film is on its last leg. Apparently the makers are facing a loss of 35 to 40 lakhs,thanks to the setback.
‘Azhar’ stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead along with Prachi Desai, Lara Dutta in prominent roles and the film is slated to release on May 13.
