Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s stint in Ramleela cancelled on Shiv Sena’s protest. Here’s why…

You must have read about Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing the role of demon Maricha in the local Ramleela at Muzaffarnagar. However, Shiv Sena has an objection by some activists of the ruling party SP, who have said that they are doing so on the instructions of Shiv Sena.

According to the sources, the opposition has been made because of the recent charges filed against the actor for dowry and harassment, by his younger brother’s wife. Hence the opposition on his being a part of Ramleela.

Nawazuddin, on the other hand, had denied any such allegations saying that his sister-in-law were just publicity mongers and were doing this just to defame him, nothing more.

Anyway, it is a sad news who were looking forward to watch the actor in this role.
