Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Indu Sarkar’ which features ‘PINK’ fame Kirti Kulhari has a new member joining the cast, and it is none other than Neil Nitin Mukesh. For those of you who remember, Neil and Madhur have earlier worked together in the movie ‘Jail’.
Madhur Bhandarkar made the announcement by tweeting the same.
After a superlative performance in #Jail @NeilNMukesh will join to play a pivotal character for the dramatic narrative of film #InduSarkar pic.twitter.com/108vfXraxM

Neil Nitin Mukesh is indeed a powerhouse performer, and we are definitely looking forward to him being back on the big screen.
‘Indu Sarkar’ is based on the life of a poetess who stammers and how she goes against the system. It is based in the time period of emergency and Madhur is leaving no stone unturned in gathering all the information pertaining to that period. From meeting people to collecting notes, the filmmaker is doing all he can to make the film look as authentic and as close to the time as possible.
The film is also said to be loosely based on Indira Gandhi, but how much truth lies in that we will only be able to find out once it hits the theatres.
For now, congratulations and welcome back Neil.
