After giving a power-packed performance in her comeback film ‘Jazbaa,’ Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would next be seen in Omung Kumar’s upcoming film titled ‘Sarbjit.’ This movie is based on the life of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian Citizen who was trapped in Pakistan Jail for several years. Later, he succumbed to the injures incurred by the jail inmates in the year 2013. Randeep Hooda is set to essay the role of Sarabjit whereas Aishwarya would be playing the role of his sister Dalbir Kaur. The lady fought really hard to bring back her brother to his home country but, unfortunately, her efforts were all in vain. ‘Sarbjit’ is a story of her 23-year struggle to get justice for her brother.
Well, with such an interesting storyline, the expectations of the audience from the film are really high and with stalwarts like Randeep and Aishwarya playing the lead role, the film has become the most awaited film of the year. The two stars are putting their best foot forward to make ‘Sarbjit’ a hit one at the box-office.
Recently, we were exposed to Randeep’s first look from the movie and we were left stunned. The boy lost 18 kgs in just 28 days in order to look perfect as Sarabjit in the film.
Post this, we have now come across Aishwarya Rai’s look in the film as Dalbir Kaur.
With sadness plastered on her face, this look of Aishwarya reveals the real agony faced by Dalbir Khan. How does it feel like to have a brother trapped miles apart in a Pakistani jail? Aishwarya could embed those agonizing feelings really well.
Apart from her, Randeep Hooda’s yet another picture from the film made its way to the internet. This picture seems to be Sarabjit’s happy times when he was in India with his family.
The film is slated to release on May 20, 2016.
