Nihal Bitla, Aamir Khan’s fan who suffered from Progeria passes away

Nihal Bitla, Aamir Khan’s most enthusiastic fan, passed away at the age of 15. We remember how Aamir had made this little fan’s wish come true. Nihal had expressed his desire to meet Aamir once in his life as he considered himself to the biggest fan Aamir. When our Perfectionist learnt about Nihal’s wish, he personally organised a meeting with Nihal. The pictures of the two had made it to the internet and we had really appreciated the zeal and liveliness of Nihal. He had gifted Aamir a few paintings and the star really considered himself lucky to have a fan like Nihal.

Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Paa’ was also based on a boy suffering from the same disease.

Rest in peace, Nihal!
