Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his home production ‘Hero’. The movie marks the debut of star-kids Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. The Khan has set up a clause for his proteges in the movie and that is no onscreen kissing for them in their debut film ‘Hero’.
Salman Khan has always refrained from kissing his heroines onscreen, he has set the same rules for Sooraj and Athiya too. The Khan recently edited a lip lock from a romantic song featuring Sooraj and Athiya.
Nikhil Advani confirming the news said, “In one of the songs, ‘Khoya khoya’, Sooraj and Athiya are lying in the back of a truck when Sooraj pulls a blanket over them and kisses Athiya. It was just a peck… A brush of the lips…But even before I could see it, Salman did, and insisted on editing it out. His argument was that in all these years, he had never kissed on screen, so there was no reason for his ‘children’ to lock lips.”
Nikhil Advani added, “The’Hero’ remake does not demand any kind of physical intimacy. So there was no discussion on this between the director and producer or with the writer and the actors.”
Quite a change from all that blatant intimacy being portrayed onscreen nowadays
