No special appearance of Sanjay Dutt in ‘Padmavati’

There were reports that Sanjay Dutt recently visited the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, and his meeting with the director was to discuss his special appearance in the film. However, the reports have turned out to be untrue.

Sanjay won’t be having any special appearance in the film. A source close to the team said to a leading portal, “None. Whatsoever.”

Earlier, there were also reports of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan doing a pivotal role in the film. However, those too were just mere rumours.

‘Padmavati’ stars Ranveer Singh as Sultan Alauddin Khilji, Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, and Shahid Kapoor as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. Reportedly, Aditi Rao Hydari will be playing the role of Ranveer’s wife in the film.

The shooting of ‘Padmavati’ has already kickstarted, and it will be hitting the screens on November 17.

Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film will be Omung Kumar’s ‘Bhoomi’ which is slated to release on August 4.
