Do you know that Akshay Kumar was to actually debut in the film industry with a movie called ‘Dwarpaal’, and not ‘Saugandh’? Yes, and recently we reported that the producer of that shelved project, Ravi Shrivastava, is dying of kidney failure. However, being the gentle soul that Akshay is, he came forward to help the man who was ready to launch him in Bollywood, back in 1991.
Akshay, as soon as he came to know about Ravi’s condition, extended a hand of help, and took to his Twitter account to intimate the same. Thanks to Akshay’s gesture, now the producer can get a kidney transplant.
Akshay wrote, “Yes sir, my team has reached out to him…already taken care of,” while replying to someone who had brought the matter to his light.

That was a very noble gesture from the superstar’s end. But then, Akshay has always been known to be a down to earth person with a good heart. We wish Ravi Shrivastava a speedy recovery.
