Oh no! Ranveer Singh is not a part of Zoya Akhtar’s next

Post his spectacular performance in ‘Bajirao Mastani’, Ranveer Singh seems to have become a hot property. Every filmmaker wants to cast him in his film, but that definitely is not possible. The handsome hunk, is as of now focused on his upcoming film ‘Befikre’ directed by Aditya Chopra. Post which, there were reports stating that he would work with his ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ director Zoya Akhtar once again. A film called ‘Gully Boy’ starring Ranveer Singh was apparently in the making, but Zoya recently confirmed that she has not roped in Ranveer for this project.

Zoya informed that Ranveer is not the male lead of her film. In fact, no actor has been signed in for this project yet. Zoya revealed that they are still working on the script of the film and as soon as it is done, they will hunt for the lead. The story is said to be about an underdog who rises from the slums to become a successful rapper.

Well, we would love to see Zoya and Ranveer collaborating once again. Rumours were also being heard that Zoya had approached Hrithik Roshan for the same, but the talks did not turn out to be positive.

Let’s wait and watch, in whose kitty ‘Gully boy’ falls!
