OMG! Ranveer Singh’s ‘Padmavati’ to clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’?

The official announcement of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ was finally done on Monday with the confirmation on the cast of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. The makers even revealed that they are aiming for a 2017 release. But if this goes as planned, the coming year would see the ‘Befikre’ actor Ranveer clashing with none other than Bollywood’s blockbuster machine, actor Salman Khan.

Don’t be surprised, if you are aware Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are teaming up again for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ which will be helmed by ‘Sultan’ director Ali Abbas Zafar. The first official poster of this movie had carried the date of Christmas 2017 which now coincidentally seems to be eyed by the makers of ‘Padmavati’ as well.

Apparently, after the announcement of ‘Padmavati’, Raj Bansal, a noted film distributor, tweeted saying that the film will release in December 2017, which was then retweeted by Viacom18 Movies, the producers of this Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.

So, looking at this, we assume that if both these films are releasing in the same month, there’s another huge clash setting up at the box office.

This would not be the first time that Ranveer Singh will face such a clash. Last time, he had faced Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ with his magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’. And now, ‘Padmavati’ with ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. Let’s wait for more updates on this.
