After a break of two years, Kriti Sanon will have two back to back releases this year; namely ‘Raabta’ and ‘Bareilly ki Barfi’. The actress recently attended a press meet at the IIFA voting weekend where she talked at length about challenges in ‘Raabta’, her equation with co-star Sushant Singh Rajput and more.
Parts of ‘Raabta’ will feature Kriti doing some intense action. Even though that was a new experience for her, she completely enjoyed every bit of it!
“There is a section in the film that requires action. I always wanted to do it. So I am excited about it. It makes you feel little stronger when you doing and learning it. It is very difficult to do it. I have had lot of cuts and bruises but it was a great experience,” Kriti smiled.
“I was working constantly. If I am not working and sitting at home then I get very restless. But I was constantly working. I have finished ‘Raabta’ and ‘Bareily Ki Barfi’. I will have back-to-back releases. Release of a film is unfortunately not in my hands,” she said, explaining her absence from the big screen for two years.
‘Dilwale’ had her in a supporting but strong character. With two films as a lead, 2017 will hopefully be great for Kriti!
Directed by Dinesh Vijan, ‘Raabta’ hits the screens on June 9.
