Music director Shreyas Puranik tweeted confirming that Deepika Padukone would be the leading lady in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s ‘Padmavati’. There were already speculations regarding the same and soon after Puranik’s tweet, the news spread faster than imagined and various publications quoted him as the source. After stumbling upon a number of articles that mentioned Puranik as the one to confirm Deepika’s presence in ‘Padmavati’, we tried to look up to his Twitter handle. And boom! It has vanished.
It is quite guessable that Bhansali didn’t want us to know about the casting before he himself decides to declare it. We wonder if Puranik received a serious flack from him; so much that he decided to delete his Twitter account!
