Pahlaj Nihalani says that Karan Johar can come to CBFC with ‘OK Jaanu’ ekdum befikre

If you have seen the trailer of Karan Johar’s next production venture ‘OK Jaanu’, you would have marked that the film has a few kissing sequences and we can also see a love making scene in it. Recently, CBFC chief, Pahlaj Nihalani, stated that Karan can come to him with the film, ekdum befikre.

Nihalani told a leading news agency, “Let him come to CBFC with ‘OK Jaanu’, ekdum befikre. We’ll do whatever is the right thing to do.”

Talking about editing out kisses in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, the CBFC chief, said, “Firstly, let me make it very clear that there was no kiss between Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to cut in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Yes, we did cut the kiss between Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma because we felt that the kiss was unduly prolonged.”

He further added, “Secondly, when his film was in trouble over the presence of a Pakistani artiste, I was one of Karan’s most vocal supporters. Karan is the son of my old friend, the wonderful Yash Johar who was one of the most upright and kind souls in this film industry. Karan is like my own son.”

CBFC had shocked everyone by allowing Ranveer Singh’s butt scene in ‘Befikre’. It looks like Nihalani is becoming quite lenient nowadays.
