Actress Zareen Khan, whom we spotted in bold and sensuous avatar more than once in recent times, says that bold scenes performed by not everyone are well-received by the audience.
“If, may be, a bigger name does this (bold scenes) it’s alright. It’s like ‘wow’, ‘oh my God’, ‘looking so hot’, this and that. But if somebody with not so much a big or established name is doing it, it is called trash, people are trolling it,” she told a news agency.
Zareen was seen performing some intense and steamy scenes in ‘Hate Story 3’ last year, after which she recently appeared in a music video of T-series with actor Ali Fazal, which also had good share of intimate scenes.
“I feel we live in a hypocritical country. There are a lot of people out there who will say all the possible negative things about that (bold scenes), but they won’t avoid watching it. They will still watch it. “Some people just like being that way. That no matter what, however much they degrade or say bad things about something, they will be the first ones to watch these things,” she said.
However, Zareen also says that she instead focuses on the part of audience that likes her, rather than worrying about those who do not.
