Ludo, which had it’s Indian premier at this years MAMI film festival, announced at the venue that the remake rights of the film has been bought by Phantom Films and the remake will be directed by filmmaker Q.
Ludo is being called India’s first gore horror fable film, which was already screened at various international film festivals. What to expect from the remake? According to Q, it will be a fluid story and will unfold in an unusual manner. He also stated that the film would be great for a franchise.
Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane, who is also one of the partners of Phantom Films, sounded elated when he said “We’re delighted to announce a Hindi version of LUDO. Q is one of the most exciting directors in the country and we couldn’t be happier about our partnership. We look forward to a kick-ass, mind-numbing, scary-as-shit, entertaining and frightening film. If not, we will eat his entrails.”
