Priyanka Chopra all set for her Marathi film debut

We don’t know which Bollywood film Priyanka Chopra will be starring in next, but the actress has revealed that she is all set for her Marathi film debut. Priyanka, who recently ventured in production, will be producing a Marathi film titled as ‘Ventilator’. The film will be directed by Rajesh Mhapuskar and the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress will be doing a cameo in the film.

Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, the actress spoke about her Marathi film. She said, “‘Ventilator’ directed by Rajesh Mhapuskar has my name attached to it, so I have to be comfortable with everything that’s happening. The crew back home teases me saying that US main baithe baithe I know everything that’s happening in Mumbai. Life is transient and I am a creative person who constantly looks for new outlets. I have been writing a lot and I am producing films, I like to evolve in different directions.”

Priyanka, who was in Mumbai for few days, shot for her portion in the film, which will be a song. Talking about being a part of the film in various departments, she said, “If I wasn’t producing films or doing different things like my web-series, I would still have been successful because I am a winner by nature and a survivor. People pursue happiness, success, money or fame, for me it’s the pursuit of excellence. I want to be excellent at my role in my Marathi film too, even if it is a guest appearance. If you’re consistent, you will never be denied success, no matter the age or stage.”

We are surely excited about PeeCee’s Marathi film debut and can’t wait to see her on the big screen.

Well, in three Bollywood films, Priyanka has played Maharashtrian mulgi – ‘Kaminey’, ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
