Priyanka Chopra takes a dig at Kareena Kapoor

Zoya Akhtars family drama ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, is reaping at the box office. It had been revealed that earlier the movie was offered to Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor but the brother sister duo rejected the offer due to some reason. Later Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh did them. Priyanka Chopra at a recent event had commented that a project only happens when right people come together.

Priyanka Chopra was asked, what she has to say on Kareena Kapoor being the first choice of the movie? On which her answer was that she believes that if her name is on the credit rolls, the film always belonged to her. Also when right people come together, a project happens.

Kareena Kapoor was asked if she has any regrets about not doing ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. The Begums answer was, “Just one. That I missed an opportunity to work with Zoya Akhtar, but it’s not her last film and definitely not mine. Not because of anything else, but because I think she is a wonderful girl and she’s just a brilliant director and I think her energy is just right.”
