R Balki’s next will see Akshay Kumar reuniting with Amitabh Bachchan

Post his last venture ‘Ki & Ka’, director R Balki is ready to start work on his next directorial project which would yet again feature his favourite, megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. But what’s more exciting is that the project would see the reunion of actor Akshay Kumar with Big B after a decade’s gap.

According to a report in a leading daily, R Balki had met Akshay for a narration and Bollywood’s Khiladi was more than happy to know that he was the first choice for this part. Reportedly, Akshay is likely to give a positive nod to this film. It is set to go on floors in the year 2017.

This would be the first time for Akshay to team up with director R Balki, whereas Amitabh and Balki have earlier collaborated on all the films helmed by the latter one with ‘Cheeni Kum’, ‘Paa’, ‘Shamitabh’ and a cameo appearance in ‘Ki & Ka’.
