‘Raaz Reboot’ first half movie review: Torture strikes heavily

The Horror Guru, director Vikram Bhatt is back with actor Emraan Hashmi to frighten you with a new spooky tale. It’s interval now and we’re not at all surprised it was a short-term relief from the pain.

The first half traces married couple Rehaan and Shaina arriving in Romania. But Rehaan’s discomfort after coming here makes Shaina sense that he is hiding something from her. It’s not soon that their paradise is hit by an evil spirit as Shaina is possessed by one. Slowly Rehaan also realises these changes and gets to know about it. Enter Aditya, Shaina’s ex-lover who tries to alert her from this as he knows about Rehaan’s hidden Raaz. But his intentions are uncertain.

Emraan Hashmi is good but offers nothing new in his performance. Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora’s acts seriously test your patience.
