‘Raees’ makers overwhelmed with calls for Sunny Leone’s song

Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming film ‘Raees’ has been in news since its inception. The film, that has the Khan portraying the role of a bootlegger turned politician, is being eagerly awaited by his fans. Now with Sunny Leone too being enrolled for a song sequence, the expectations have risen sky high.

The makers of the film are overwhelmed with calls from fans and people within the industry who want to know more about this number being performed by SRK and the ‘Jism 2’ actress. The actors are performing to a rehashed version of the iconic ‘Laila O’ Laila’ song that had Zeenat Aman grooving to it beats in Feroz Khan’s film ‘Qurbani’.

Sources said, “Ever since the announcement was made, calls have been pouring in for Ritesh. Everyone wants to know more… from the backdrop to the costumes to the names of the singer. The fact that the song is a rehashed version of the iconic ‘Laila O’ Laila’ has further generated curiosity.”

Raees is set against the backdrop of Gujarat in the 90s. It has Shah Rukh Khan romancing Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui depicting the role of a cop in it. Directed by Ritesh Sidhwani Raees will release this Eid.
