Rajinikanth to romance with Deepika Padukone in Robot Sequel

Deepika Padukone who last year gave four superhits in Happy New Year, Finding Fanny, Ram Leela and Piku will be seen in Rajinikanth’s 2010 film Robot Sequel.

In 2014, Deepika Padukone was previously featured opposite Rajinikanth in the Tamil film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ and now will be seen romancing again in Robot’s Sequel which will be commencing by January 2016.

Robot featuring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles was the top earner in Indian Film of 2010 beating Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘My Name Is Khan’.

At present, Deepika Padukone is simultaneously filming Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’, a romantic drama opposite Ranbir Kapoor, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical romance ‘Bajirao Mastani’, in which she plays Mastani opposite Ranveer Singh’s Baji Rao I and Priyanka Chopra’s Kashibai.

‘Tamasha’ is scheduled for release on November 27, 2015 and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ on 18 December 2015
