While the Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor is already in its production stage, the makers of the film are still brainstorming to come up with a suitable title for it. This is the reason that director Rajkumar Hirani has come up with a novel concept for the title.
The filmmaker has announced to his team that he will be offering an Apple iPhone 7 Plus (256GB) costing a whooping Rs 92,000 to anybody in his team who comes up with the perfect title for the biopic.
Says a source, “Raju appears to have hit a roadblock on the title. The film begins shooting from January and it doesn’t have a name! So now he has hit upon a novel idea to get an interesting title. After discussing with his creative team, he has suggested a competition that is open for all the departments in his office, which includes the actors, too.”

Explaining how the competition works, the source adds, “There is a box in his office where everyone is putting in their suggestions along with their names and the box will be opened in January and the title will be chosen. The person with the best title will get the the most expensive iPhone around. Everyone is qualified to enter and participate in the competition right from Ranbir and Sonam to the junior-most assistant director and lightman.”
Currently the biopic has been tentatively titled ‘Dutt’. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Vicky Kaushal, and Sonam Kapoor.
