‘The Ghazi Attack’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie is all set to hit the screens on February 17, and CBFC has cleared the film with a U/A certificate. However, they have asked for two verbal cuts which were seen to be demeaning the Indian characters.
In the movie, Pakistani characters are seen mouthing words like “bloody” and “bastard” for Indian characters, and these are the two verbal cuts. (Also Read: Rana Daggubati keen to have a memorabilia from ‘The Ghazi Attack’)
Talking about many films nowadays getting a U/A certificate, CBFC chief, Pahlaj Nihlani said, “Filmmakers modify and adapt their films to a ‘U/A’ certification. That means children are allowed to see the films as long as they are accompanied by an adult. A ‘U/A’ not only widens the audience spectrum of a film as compared with an ‘A’ certificate, it also makes satellite telecast easy. If your film is certified for Adults you have to re-submit with the necessary changes for a ‘U/A’ before your film is suitable for viewing on TV and satellite.”
‘The Ghazi Attack’ stars Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu and Kay Kay Menon.
