Rana Daggubati will next be seen in ‘The Ghazi Attack’ which is all set to hit the screens on February 17. The actor plays the role of a Naval officer in the film which is based on a true incident that took place during India-Pakistan war in 1971.
To prepare for his character, he had met many Naval officers. The actor is deeply worried by the challenges that are faced by these defence officers, and that’s why he wrote a letter to the President of India. In the letter, he has requested the President that our armed forces need to be acknowledged as they are the unsung heroes of the country. ‘The Ghazi Attack’ is directed by Sankalp Reddy and also stars Kay Kay Menon, Taapsee Pannu and Atul Kulkarni. It is the first Indian war-at-sea film.
