Ranbir Kapoor clarifies upon his comment on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

A few days ago, actor Ranbir Kapoor who was busy in the promotions of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ had talked about the intimate scenes with his co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Ranbir’s statement on doing those intimate scenes had made headlines. But recently, Ranbir has given his clarification on this statement saying that he respects Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

In an interview with a radio station, Ranbir had said, “Sharam aati thi, mere haath shiver hote the. Kabhi Kabhi main unke gaal ko touch karne main jhijhakta tha. Phir unhone hi bola, ‘Listen, what’s wrong with you? We are acting, cmon’ do it properly.’ Phir maine socha, kabhi aisa mauka milega nahi, so maine bhi mauke pe chauka maar diya!” [sic]

And now, Ranbir has recently said during one of his interactions that his comments in a radio interview were taken in bad taste, though he has not specifically mentioned about that particular statement.

“Aishwarya is such a superb actor and also a family friend. She’s one of India’s most talented and respected women. I will be forever grateful to her for her contribution to ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. I could not have disrespected her like that!” said Ranbir Kapoor.

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, directed by Karan Johar also stars Anushka Sharma playing a pivotal part.
