Ranbir Kapoor & Katrina Kaif’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has been attracting controversies since a long time now. The film has been delayed several times and became almost uncertain after Ranbir & Katrina ended their 6-year-old relationship. And now, the buzz is that the story of ‘Jagga Jasoo’ isn’t original!

As per a report published on Bollywood Life, a source close to the film has revealed that the characters are similar with that of the English TV series and film ‘The Singing Detective’.

‘The Singing Detective’ was executed as a film from the TV series in 2003 where Robert Downey Jr. tries to address a mystery through singing songs. Ranbir had earlier revealed that ‘Jagga Jasoos’ also has over 10 songs and the lead characters will be often seen conversing through songs.

” ‘Jagga Jasoos’ plot might be the different, but the entire novel concept of having the characters talk through songs is copied from The Singing Detective.”, the source was quoted saying.

Nevertheless, we are eager to catch glimpses of Ranbir-Kat together again; be it in reel life!
