The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena sought a ban on all Pakistani artists win Bollywood, following the terrorist attacks on Uri. While all Bollywood celebs condemned the act of terrorism, their opinions on the ban on Pak artists remained divided. Ranbir Kapoor, when asked about the same, recently said something that makes a lot of sense.

Ranbir, whose upcoming film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, said, “I don’t want to sound preachy and like a ‘healer talker’ but we are living in some hard times right now. I hope that you guys don’t get swept away with the bitterness and negativity, the violence that’s happening around the world and around us.”

While filmmaker Karan Johar clearly opined that banning artists from across the border is not the solution, Ranbir urged the fans to remain gentle. “I want you guys to stay sweet, gentle, amazing and beautiful. Because even though the world may think that it’s a shitty place to live in, it is beautiful. You guys are the force. And the force is going to be with you, forever,” he said.

Well, RK’s words are like a silver lining amidst the dark clouds.
