Rani Mukerji and Karan Johar bury their hatchet with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and visit her

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai passed away recently after a prolong illness. All of Ash’s friends and family were by her side during this tough time including some of her industry mates.

Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Twinkle Khanna and many more made it to Krishnaraj’s funeral and prayer meeting. However everyone was shocked with Karan Johar not coming to console Aishwarya, especially when the two had worked together recently in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

This hinted at some problems between Ash and Karan, but the filmmaker soon dismissed all the speculations, after he took time out and was present by Aishwarya and Abhishek’s side as he visited their house to pay condolence.

Sources reveal that Karan was busy when the prayer meeting happened and thus he couldn’t attend it. A source confirmed, “Karan shares a great equation with both Aishwarya and Abhishek. So there is no question of anyone being upset with each other. Their bond is beyond all this. All these reports that Aishwarya is miffed with KJo are false. Nothing of that sort would have even crossed anyone’s mind.”

Not just Karan, but even Rani Mukerji visited Ash at her place recently. Everyone knows that Aishwarya and Rani share a past as Abhishek was reportedly dating Rani at one point of time. While there were rumours of a tiff between Ash and Rani, those too were put to rest after this incident.
