Ranveer Singh bonds with Aamir Khan at ‘Maharashtrian of the Year’ awards

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was recently honoured with the Maharashtrian of the Year award by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis. The actor was given this award for his performance as Peshwa Bajirao in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’.  The ‘Lokmat Maharashtrian of The Year’ award honours individuals who have put Brand Maharashtra on the Indian and global radar. Ranveer, with his outstanding act, made the Peshwa a household name.

The actor could just not hold his excitement as he was handed the award. Dressed in a traditional outfit, he looked quite dashing as he expressed his gratitude for being honoured with the prestigious award. Sharing the dais with Ranveer was Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan. The two actors bonded and were seen having some intense discussions with each other. Aamir too had won this award in 2011.

On work front Ranveer Singh’s next is an Aditya Chopra film ‘Befikre’ that will feature the actor romancing Vaani Kapoor.
