Ranveer Singh calls his new place a ‘gufa’, converts it into a workshop for ‘Padmavati’

‘Bajirao Mastani’ star Ranveer Singh has already started shooting for his next, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ and being a dedicated actor that he is, Ranveer has also shifted to a new apartment, which is closer to his current workplace.

The actor is currently promoting his next, a breezy rom-com, ‘Befikre’ and his idea is also to stay completely focused on his character, Alauddin Khilji from his next project. He does not want to waste time travelling.

Ranveer calls his new place a ‘gufa’ as there is no mobile signal in his apartment. “This is where all the real work happens. I am completely cut off (from the outside world) when I am in my den. I am so high up over here that there’s no mobile signal at all. So, even if I want to, I can’t be on the radar (laughs),” he says.

He add, “In fact, I have designed this place like my workshop, and this is where I do all my creative work. And it’s a process that really helps me. It works very well for me as an actor. So, you can say that this is where all the action really happens.”

‘Padmavati’ also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles.
