In the past, this award has been bestowed on megastar Amitabh Bachchan and thespian Dilip Kumar and now it will be Ranveer’s turn. Truly a proud moment in the ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ actor’s life.
The jury members, who chose the awardee this year, were former Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, former Union Minister Praful Patel, eminent lawyer Ujjwal Nikam, social activist Medha Patkar, businessman Harsh Goenka, veteran journalist Ayaz Memon, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and some others.
