Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor-starrer ‘Befikre‘ opened to some great reviews at the box office, but with time, the movie’s business at the box office has been dropping largely. However, director Aditya Chopra has nothing to worry.
According to trade reports, the film was in profit since the day it got released. A source says, “The production house has released a figure of Rs 70 crore as the cost of the film. To begin with Adi got a subsidy of Rs 10 crore (approx) from French government for shooting there. Music rights have been sold for Rs 10 crore and they have got Rs 25 crore for satellite rights from Sony, and Adi is negotiating selling the digital rights for Rs 35 crore approx to Amazon Prime Video, India, for streaming the film. Many B-Town producers are selling their digital rights to Amazon and Netflix.”
