Ranveer Singh was Shah Rukh Khan for director Aditya Chopra from day 1 of ‘Befikre’ shoot

Director Aditya Chopra’s directorial comeback ‘Befikre’ has been in the news for witnessing a change in pattern of his filmmaking. And the change was that for the first time, the YRF head honcho was directing a film without actor Shah Rukh Khan playing the lead in it, after working on three movies earlier. Following a unique marketing strategy for ‘Befikre’, director Aditya Chopra who is a guarded personality, has come up with a new letter. This actually gets us to know that Ranveer Singh was in ‘Befikre’ even before Aditya had made up his mind to direct this romantic comedy flick.

This letter has been shared on the official Twitter handle of Yash Raj Films where they have tweeted, “Ranveer was in Befikre even before I was” The creator of #Befikre #AdityaChopra speaks about #Dharam. #TheBefikreSeries @RanveerOfficial.” [sic]

If you read this letter, it can be seen that Aditya Chopra has confessed that he was scared to make a film without SRK, but he did not put much pressure on Ranveer. But from the very first day of directing the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor, Aditya saw the same energy, brilliance and intellect of SRK in Ranveer, and knew that he was in safe hands.

‘Befikre’ is entirely shot in Paris city, and also marks the comeback of actress Vaani Kapoor on the big screens after a gap of three years. It is slated to release this Friday on December 9.
