Revealed: Salman Khan’s role in ‘Sultan’

The season of boxing has started in Bollywood, after Priyanka Chopra depicting the role of boxing champion ‘Mary Kom’. Then we have Ranbir Kapoor who will be seen as a boxer in upcoming film ‘Bombay Velvet’, soon even Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra will be seen depicting the roles of boxers in Dharma Productions ‘Brothers’. Now apparently our Dabangg Salman Khan too is all set to essay the role of a boxer in his upcoming film, titled ‘Sultan’.

Ali Abbas directorial Sultan a Yash Raj Film, is said to be based on a 40-year old boxer. To lend authenticity to the role Salman Khan is expected to take boxing training. The superstar known for his enviable physique will also work on his already-well-built body.

Salman Khan at present is busy shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. He will start shooting for ‘Sultan’ after he wraps up the two projects.

Speculations were rife that ‘Sultan’ will bring together Salman and Deepika Padukone for the first time. Looks like Salman Khan is all set to give a tough competition to his Bollywood colleagues with his ‘Sultan’ as a reel boxer .
