Revealed: Sonam Kapoor’s cameo in brother Harshvardhan’s film ‘Mirziya’

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor will also be seen in brother Harshvardhan Kapoor’s debut film Mirziya. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra the movie a romantic epic love story, will mark the debut of newcomers Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher in Bollywood. The movie will also have Mehra’s favorite actress Sonam Kapoor in a cameo in it.

Sources revealed that, Sonam Kapoor who had recently flown down to Ladakh for a detox backpacking for a week, was actually in Hunder to shoot for Mirziya. She was spotted by tourists on sets of ‘Mirziya’. The makers had not wanted to reveal Sonam’s presence in the film, as they wanted it to be the surprise element of the film.

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra also revealed as to why he cast newcomers for his film. He said, “I did not want to take known actors because they come with a certain baggage and the audience is familiar with them. The film is a fresh take on the this legendary love story, so it needed young, fresh faces.”

Looks like Sonam Kapoor was doing her sisterly bit for brother Harshvardhan’s Bollywood debut.
