Rhea Kapoor denies delay in ‘Veere De Weeding’ due to Kareena Kapoor’s pregnancy

It was only in the morning today that Saif Ali Khan issued a statement confirming on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy and stated that they would be welcoming their first child in December this year.

Soon after, there were reports suggesting that Kareena has now rescheduled the shooting for her next, Rhea Kapoor’s ‘Veere De Wedding’ as she is already four months pregnant. The movie which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar in the lead was supposed to go on floors next month. However, Rhea herself denied the reports  and said “Ekta Kapoor and I, with our families and companies, are delighted and excited for Kareena and Saif! As producers of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ we are thrilled to be part of their special journey! Bebo is a thorough professional and will start the shoot of the film in August. Much like the spirit of our film, which celebrates the modern girl. Kareena is going on with her work and life as usual and we couldn’t be prouder to have her!”
