Ridhima Sud bags a film opposite Fawad Khan

Bollywood’s new entrant actress Ridhima Sud, who had debuted with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ has bagged a role opposite Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan. The actors will be seen together in Reema Kagti’s ‘Mr. Chaalu’.

Confirming the news an excited Ridhima said, “Yes! I am very excited about the film and have finished a reading for it.”

Not only a Reema Kagti film, Ridhima has also bagged a role in John Abraham’s next production ‘Satra Ko Shaadi Hai’ which features Barun Sobti and Harshvardhan Rane in the lead.

She added, “It’s not a love the actor in the lead. It’s not a love story, but a full-fledged wedding melodrama. I play Cookie Hirani, a bindaas Bombay kudi, who’s been dragged to a particular wedding in Bhopal and mayhem fol lows. I am paired opposite Harshvardhan Rane and I never knew he was such a big heartthrob down South. TV star Barun Sobti too is a part of the cast, and I never knew the amount of fan-following he had either.I thought these boys were nobodies.”
