Salman Khan: “I wanted to be part of ‘Freaky Ali’ but Sohail was not ready”

Salman Khan who was present at the trailer launch of ‘Freaky Ali’, said that he wanted to be a part of this project. He said, “I wanted to be part of #FreakyAli but Sohail was not ready. I asked him for several characters, but he took Arbaaz not me. This film is made in 38 days if I was cast in the film, the would have been completed in 138 days.”

The movie ‘Freaky Ali’ stars acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and will be releasing on Sept 9, 2016.

Sohail Khan will be donning the director’s hat for this one, and it’s not the first time that he would be doing so. He made his debut as a director with the action thriller ‘Auzaar’ in 1997 that featured his brother Salman Khan and Sanjay Kapoor. Later, he directed both his brothers Salman and Arbaaz in the film ‘Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’ and ‘Hello Brother’. His recent movie as a director was ‘Jai Ho’ (2014).
